Oxygene
is based on Jean-Michel Jarre's first album. Released in 1977, it was a
groundbreaking electronica album. I remember it from childhood, when its
other-worldly sounds were like nothing I'd ever heard before. Even today
it's a favourite album and it still swirls uncontrollably in my head
when I hear it. There are two companion pieces - Equinoxe and Magnetic Fields. |
