Inveraray, on the shores of Loch Fyne in Argyll is another favourite spot. It has a fine brewery nearby, the best whisky shop in the world and a splendid fish and chip shop. A typical trip usually involves a stop off at the brewery, another at the seafood restaurant at the top of the loch, followed by a visit to the whisky shop and a fish supper; consumed on the harbourside in front of a view not dissimilar to this one.
